Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our restaurant management team, the Sous Chef will assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and efficiency. Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and high standards of food quality
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
- Ensure adherence to restaurant policies, health codes, and sanitation practices
- Support restaurant management in planning menus, developing new dishes, and maintaining customer satisfaction
- Serve as a leader during busy service hours, demonstrating excellent teamwork and leadership skills
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards
- Excellent team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Extensive restaurant management knowledge including food safety practices and kitchen operations
- Skilled in food handling, serving protocols, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Previous restaurant experience with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
