Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support team members during shifts.
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate employees.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage labour costs.
- Ensure excellent guest service and resolve customer complaints.
- Monitor food quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and cost control.
- Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling.
- Help achieve sales targets and restaurant profitability goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Lead by example and maintain a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of supervisory or management experience in quick-service restaurants, food service, retail, or hospitality.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with employee training and performance management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Safety Certification is often considered an asset.
