About this role: As a Peaceful Pathways Safe Exchange Facilitator you will be responsible for supporting case management of the Safe Exchange program. You will help create a safe, comfortable environment for intakes and supervised exchanges of children going between caregivers. Responsibilities:
· Maintain up-to-date documentation of client contact notes
· Create a safe, neutral, and friendly environment for supervised exchanges
· Ensure all appropriate procedures are followed
· Facilitate Safe Exchanges
· Collaborate with Coordinator to train newly hired Facilitators
Certifications:
· RCMP & Child & Youth Intervention Check
· Class 5 Drivers License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract
· First Aid
· Proof of educational qualifications
· Registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) if applicable
· Bachelor of Social Work/ Bachelor of Arts (Major in Psychology, Sociology, or Criminology) or diploma with significant related work experience.
Job Type: Part-Time Casual
Hours of Work: Wednesdays 4:30pm- 9:00pm, Thursdays 4:30pm- 9:00pm, Fridays 4:30pm-6:00pm, Saturday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Sundays 8:30am - 5:30pm. Hours are based on availability and client schedule. Must offer availability of a minimum of 5 shifts per month including evening, Saturday, and Sunday availability.
