Position Overview
The Dining Room Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service, and upholding the high standards of the restaurant. A strong emphasis is placed on wine knowledge, guest relations, leadership, and the ability to drive an exceptional hospitality culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding guest experiences
- Manage daily dining room operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality service
- Provide expert guidance on wine selections and maintain a strong presence in the dining room
- Collaborate with the sommelier or beverage team to enhance staff wine training and maintain wine service excellence
- Assist in menu development discussions, especially as they relate to wine pairings
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Support special events, private dining, and promotional initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a high-end dining environment
- Strong wine knowledge is essential
- Proven leadership and team-building abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
