Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper and Cleaner to join our team at Travelodge by Wyndham in Thunder Bay. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel rooms and public areas, contributing to our commitment to guest satisfaction and hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public spaces according to company standards.
- Restock supplies and amenities to ensure guest comfort.
- Maintain cleanliness of all hotel areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Report maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning.
- Ensure guest privacy and security during cleaning activities.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues.
- Qualifications
- Proven custodial or cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
