This role provides senior technical support for critical public safety and justice systems, helping ensure they remain secure, reliable, and available when they are needed most.

As a Senior Support Analyst, you will provide senior-level technical expertise in support of mission-critical public safety and justice applications used by police services, corrections, coroners, and other government partners across Ontario.
In this role, you will:
- Support, monitor, and maintain critical business applications and supporting infrastructure in a high-availability environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical incidents to minimize service disruptions and ensure system reliability.
- Analyze system performance and identify opportunities to improve stability, security, and operational effectiveness.
- Support application deployments, upgrades, releases, and technology modernization initiatives.
- Develop and enhance monitoring capabilities that proactively identify and address system issues.
- Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management activities.
- Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Provide senior technical advice and guidance to colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable, secure, and effective service delivery.
Please note: This position participates in operational support activities for critical public safety systems, including after-hours and on-call responsibilities as required.

You have:
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and infrastructure in Windows and/or Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex application, system, or infrastructure issues.
- Knowledge of application support, systems administration, networking, virtualization, databases, monitoring tools, or related enterprise technologies.
- Experience supporting application upgrades, deployments, maintenance activities, and operational service delivery.
- Knowledge of system monitoring, availability management, security practices, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Experience supporting critical business systems where reliability and service continuity are priorities.
You can:
- Analyze complex technical issues and identify root causes.
- Troubleshoot application and infrastructure incidents under tight timelines.
- Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
- Apply sound judgment when prioritizing competing operational demands.
- Support incident, problem, change, and release management activities.
