AWC Manufacturing has an opening for a CNC Mill Operator in Oldcastle. Please see below for job duties and requirements:
- Prepare machine for production by setting up tooling, controls and programming
- Process parts by studying job orders and applying knowledge of materials and processes
- Maintain job specifications by using various types of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth mics, hold gauges, probe and tape measures, etc.
- Check quality as per work instructions and produce quality product
- Perform setups and operate the TOS and/or SNK Mills
- Maintain clean, organized work area and help in other areas as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with CNC machining using Fanuc controllers an asset
- Prior experience with 4th Axis and/or 3+2 Milling Head
- Familiar with machining of fabrications considered an asset
- Basic programming skills needed
- Overhead crane and rigging experience required
- Blue print reading skills required
- Basic computer and math skills are required
- Must be quality/detail-oriented
- Previous knowledge of manufacturing processes required
