Senior MOA / Clinic Operations Lead

Respira Lung Clinic is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Office Assistant / Clinic Operations Lead to support and strengthen the administrative systems of a growing physician-led pulmonary clinic and diagnostics lab.
This is a predominantly remote role with flexible weekday hours. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in medical clinic operations. This role is well suited to someone who can support day-to-day administrative workflows while also helping develop better systems, improve communication, and lead clinic processes as the practice grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and improve referral intake, booking, patient communication, faxing, document management, and EMR workflows.
- Help develop clear clinic systems, templates, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
- Support remote MOA workflows and provide guidance, quality checks, and task prioritization.
- Track clinic tasks, referral status, booking needs, and operational follow-up.
- Communicate professionally with patients, referring offices, physicians, and clinic team members.
- Identify workflow gaps and help build practical solutions.
- Support pulmonary function testing and pulmonary consultation workflows.
- Assist with quality improvement, privacy-conscious documentation, and reliable clinic communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of medical office experience required.
- Prior experience in a senior MOA, lead admin, clinic coordinator, or clinic manager role preferred.
- Strong EMR, faxing, referral management, scheduling, and medical documentation experience.
- Experience developing or improving clinic workflows is strongly preferred.
- Pulmonary, respirology, sleep medicine, diagnostic imaging, or pulmonary function testing experience is an asset.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
Compensation
Commensurate with experience, independence, clinic workflow leadership, and relevant specialty experience.
