G&L Furniture Warehouse is looking to add a salesperson to our team!
We are a local discount furniture retailer located at 30 Hutchings Street in the Inkster Industrial Park in Winnipeg. We are the hottest new furniture company in town and we’re growing fast.
We offer the perfect opportunity for someone looking for a sales position outside of the mundane corporate environment. Unlike other retailers in the industry, we are more team oriented. We are less focused on performance algorithms and more on customer experience. This is not a commission sales job.
Our salespeople are not trained to follow on the coattails of any customer that walks in the door. Rather, our customers appreciate a friendly no-pressure sales environment.
We are looking for a candidate who is:
- Friendly, able to establish good rapport with customers
- A team player, able to work well with others across all departments in the store.
- Has basic computer skills with an ability to learn basic usage of Word, Excel, and our internal Point of Sale Software for typing invoices for customers during checkout.
- Motivated to work hard and grow with the company
Job will entail:
- Working with customers, assisting them during the sales process, sharing product knowledge
- Typing customer invoices, taking payment and completing the sales process
- Assist with customer service issues
- Along with the team, ensure the store remains clean and tidy, assisting with rearranging and decorating the floor at times
- Other duties as required
This position is full time.

We receive semi-loads every week, with great deals on Brand New, Brand Name furniture, including factory direct overstocks, discontinued items, liquidation buy-outs & more. Our warehouse showroom is over 30,000 square feet!
No gimmicks or high-pressure commissioned salespeople. We don't have the fancy, expensive showrooms that must be paid for by the customers. We cut out the middle man – our customers shop right out of our warehouse and save BIG!
