Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pizza Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering hot, fresh pizzas to customers in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed. Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver pizzas and other menu items to customers’ locations within designated areas
- Ensure orders are accurate and complete before delivery
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when interacting with customers
- Handle cash or electronic payments, providing receipts as necessary
- Assist with moving supplies or equipment around the restaurant or warehouse as needed, including heavy lifting
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe deliveries at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in customer service or warehouse environments is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks, including experience with forklifts or warehouse equipment is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Experience with commercial driving preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation to ensure timely deliveries
- Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and perform moving tasks as necessary
Pay: $16.60-$16.61 per hour
