Jr. Construction Estimator/Project Manager
Cedar Crest Lands (Alta.) Ltd. is a Landscape Construction Company specializing in building Parks and Sports Fields in new residential communities, as well as Land Reclamation, Site Development, Revegetation, and Naturalization projects. We have been successfully building and enhancing landscapes in Calgary and the surrounding area for over 50 years.

Duties Include:
· Review specifications and drawings of open tenders
· Collect all pertinent data and information for each job to be quoted
· Conduct materials and pricing research
· Assist in negotiations with Engineering Consultants
· Liaise with general contractor, sub-contractors, and suppliers
· Identify new market opportunities
Requirements:
· Attentive to detail with strong analytical, math and computer skills
· Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
· Must be extremely proficient in Word and Outlook
· Ability to plan, organize, and complete work independently and as part of a team
· Highly organized and achievement oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities
· Must be fluent in English
· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Assets:
· Estimating /Project Management experience with Landscape Construction and Maintenance
· Relevant University Degree or College Diploma (i.e. Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Certified Landscape Technician, Landscape Horticulture Diploma, Landscape Architectural Diploma), Project Management Certificate, Construction Estimating Certificate
· Previous experience in project management and coordination
· Estimating in a general contracting environment
· Office experience
