Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide high-quality care to individuals in their private homes. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and possess the skills necessary to support seniors and individuals with disabilities. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Support with medication administration following prescribed guidelines
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, especially those with dementia or cognitive impairments
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Help clients with transfers and positioning to prevent falls or injuries
- Monitor health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with transportation to appointments or activities as needed
- Follow care plans and document care provided accurately
Skills
- Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to administer medications safely and accurately
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
- Compassionate attitude towards clients’ needs and dignity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing care requirements and schedules

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
