Join the Wicker Land Patio Team: Sales Associate
Are you a creative eye with a talent for selling? Wicker Land Patio is seeking a Sales Associate to help shape how our showroom looks and help lead customers toward the high-end outdoor patio furniture that will transform their homes.
About the Role
This position blends design, and sales. You'll help design of how our showroom is presented — planning layouts, refreshing displays, and using digital tools to keep our inventory organized. At the same time, you'll work directly with customers, offering guidance on our patio furniture collections, BBQs and building the kind of relationships that turn a single sale into a lifelong client.
What You'll Do
- Help design and maintain showroom layouts and visual merchandising that showcase our furniture and BBQ collections and elevate the customer experience.
- Advise customers on our higher-end patio furniture lines, matching pieces to their style, space, and budget.
- Build lasting client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
- Process sales accurately and efficiently through our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Stay current on our product catalogue, new arrivals, and promotions to speak with confidence and authority.
- Respond to customer inquiries in-store, by phone, and by email with professionalism, escalating concerns to management as needed.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in both the visual presentation of a space and the art of the sale — someone comfortable with computer work, team cooperation and is eager to represent a premium product line. Experience in visual merchandising, interior design, or high-end retail sales is a strong asset. We're equally invested in the right attitude, and we provide thorough training to someone who brings creativity, initiative, and a drive to learn.
Key Requirements
- A valid Driver's License and a clean Driver's Abstract are mandatory.
- Comfort with computer systems and design work.
- An eye for design, layout, and visual presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to connect with customers.
- A goal-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work holidays and weekends as required.
