Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Harvest Worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work in crop harvesting and farm maintenance, contributing directly to the productivity and quality of our farm operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a keen interest in grain and oilseed production and farm machinery. This position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in sustainable farming practices while supporting the growth of our agricultural enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Harvesting crops efficiently and accurately according to seasonal schedules and quality standards
- Operating farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively during harvesting activities
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and farm infrastructure to ensure smooth operation
- Using basic math skills for measuring, counting, and recording harvest data
- Handling heavy lifting tasks safely
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Supporting other farm activities
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining farm machinery and tools
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
- Knowledge of farm machinery operation is mandatory
- Ability to work outdoors
Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
