Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education, classroom management, and working with children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, focusing on foundational skills in math, writing, and social development
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and instructional design strategies to enhance classroom instruction and track student progress
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment
- Assess student performance regularly through observations, assessments, and tutoring sessions, providing feedback to support individual growth
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional support
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and active participation among children
- Incorporate effective communication skills to engage children and communicate progress clearly with parents and team members
- Design engaging activities that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional development
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and instructional activities in compliance with school policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; additional certifications in Special Education are preferred
- Proven classroom experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of LMS platforms and instructional design principles for early childhood education
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to develop creative lesson plans that incorporate tutoring techniques for individual student needs
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation efficiently
- Passion for teaching young learners and fostering a supportive learning environment

Pay: $47,225.43-$114,837.95 per year
