Duties
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods from the storer to various customer locations
- Load and unload items with care, utilizing heavy lifting techniques.
- Ensure accurate delivery of orders by verifying addresses and delivery details
- Communicate clearly with customers upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety checks, and adherence to traffic laws at all times
- Assist in store activities such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for delivery
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, mileage logs, and any incidents or delays during routes
- Willing to drive outside of Edmonton
Experience
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading tasks.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Prior experience in van delivery driving highly desirable and required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
