Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and caring environment for dogs during their daycare visits. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle the demands of the job. Responsibilities
- Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime to ensure safety and positive socialization
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent conflicts or injuries
- Assist with cleaning and disinfecting kennels, play areas, and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s activities, behavior, and well-being
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to engage with pet owners professionally and courteously
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and a genuine love for dogs
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members
- Ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of dog behavior and safety protocols is preferred but not required; training will be provided
