Chef Cos Catering & Events is looking for a reliable, experienced, and motivated Part-Time Chef / Lead Cook to join our growing team.
Schedule
- Primarily Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Weekend work available based on off-site catering events and venue bookings
- Additional hours may be available during peak seasons
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute catering and event menus
- Manage food production and kitchen organization
- Assist with event loading and off-site catering setups
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or Lead Cook
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable driving to event venues throughout the GTA
- Available for evenings and occasional weekends
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lift catering equipment and supplies when required
- Punctual and dependable
- Well-spoken and professional when interacting with clients, venues, and team members
- Positive attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Strong work ethic and pride in producing quality food
