We’re looking for either a reliable, hands-on Culinary Team Leader / Junior Sous Chef to lead evening kitchen operations and join our weekend brunch team. Or a weekend part time experienced line cook for our brunch team.
Key Responsibilities (Culinary Team Lead)
- Lead and supervise kitchen operations during service while Chef and Sous chef are absent
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with execution, prep, and service standards
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Manage prep lists, inventory levels, and station readiness
- Step in on any station as needed during service
- Ability to run and close a kitchen while managing labor
Qualifications
- 2–4+ years kitchen experience, including leadership exposure
- Strong line skills with the ability to work multiple stations
- Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen systems
- Ability to lead calmly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexible availability for evenings, nights, weekends
