Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Communication Specialist/Manager to lead our organization's internal and external communication efforts. This role involves developing strategic communication plans, managing media relations, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and public appearances.
- Oversee content creation for various channels such as newsletters, social media, websites, and reports.
- Conduct research to stay informed on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive positioning.
- Proofread and edit all communication materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Lead public speaking engagements, presentations, and community outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate communication campaigns with branding initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication programs through analytics and feedback.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members in writing, research, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in public speaking, research, proofreading, marketing, and strategic communication management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong research abilities to gather relevant information for content development.
- Demonstrated ability to craft compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Prior experience leading a team or managing communication projects at a senior level is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
