- Overview
- We are looking for staff to work in our turf department, which is responsible for the golf course's daily maintenance.
- The ideal candidate will be punctual, energetic, physically fit and enjoys working outdoors.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Duties
- Mow, trim, and edge grass using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment to ensure well-manicured grounds
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as line trimming, applying soil and seed to divots, helping dig up irrigation leaks, cutting grass with lawnmowers and riding mowers when needed.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks
- Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and equipment to promote safety and efficiencyRequirements
- Experience with horticulture, gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred
- Able to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic maintenance skills related to landscape equipment and facilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Hours:
Weekdays 6:15 am to 2:15 pm
Weekends: 5:15 am to 10:15 am
Turf Staff work every other weekend* Scheduled Weekends are mandatory
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
