Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of vehicles and machinery. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Duties
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment including forklifts, excavators, cranes, and other heavy machinery
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs on vehicle systems
- Repair or replace mechanical components on farm machinery, HVAC systems, or industrial equipment
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and technical drawings to facilitate repairs
- Utilize welding skills for bodywork or component fabrication when necessary
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle or piece of equipment serviced
- Assist in the assembly or disassembly of complex machinery as required
Experience
- Prior dealership experience is highly desirable
- Proven mechanic experience with automotive repair and maintenance
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, cranes, or industrial machinery
- Knowledge of electrical systems within vehicles and industrial equipment
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic software
- Experience working with farm machinery or HVAC systems is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs

Pay: $23.12-$30.00 per hour
