Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Take and record patient vital signs accurately
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Administer medications as directed by physicians, following proper protocols
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate referrals as needed
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and processing paperwork
- Educate patients on medication usage, post-treatment care, and health maintenance
Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of patient care procedures and medical terminology
- Ability to accurately administer medications under supervision or according to protocol
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
