Responsible for transporting product, completes proper documentation and prepares reports, stores products on rotating base, plans products delivery schedules, loads trucks and delivers products, and performs daily truck and trailers inspections to identify safety and maintenance issues.
Verifies completed, vacuumed product, looking at product sku’s and validating customer requirements.
Organizes loads for shipping, and loads trucks appropriately for customer delivery.
Starts reefer units on trucks, preparing to hold product.
Records required documentation pertinent to shipping and final product quality.
Maintains and records proper temperature control of product.
Checks battery of forklift weekly and fills if required.
Run product through metal detector, before the final stage.
Support Vacuum cooler duties as needed.
Performs any other duties as assigned.

Interact with others in a manner that promotes respect, confidentiality and dignity.
Develop and actively foster an engaged work force, displaying professionalism at all times.
Adheres to the Safety Policies, including use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment.
Reports unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
Reports all incidents, injuries and near misses to the supervisor immediately.
Cooperates in the Early and Safe Return to Work Program if an injury or medical illness requires accommodation.
Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) as trained.
Adheres to all quality standards per customer specifications.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be eligible to work in Canada without restrictions.
Prior forklift experience is considered an asset.
4 to 5 days / week
Approximately 40 to 44 hours / week; 8 to 12 hours / day
Public Holidays / Weekends as scheduled
Daily shift end times vary based on production needs
