Job Description
We are looking for reliable individuals to distribute door hanger flyers throughout residential neighborhoods in Calgary, primarily in the NW and NE areas.
This is a temporary independent contractor opportunity lasting approximately 2–3 months. You will be responsible for walking assigned neighborhoods and placing door hanger flyers on residential homes.
This position offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to work as many or as few hours as you choose between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM. It can work well as either a side job or full-time temporary work.
The role is straightforward and independent—a great opportunity to get outside, stay active, listen to music or podcasts, and earn money while walking through neighborhoods.
Individuals who demonstrate reliability and strong work ethic may also have opportunities for longer-term work or landscaping labor positions in the future.
Responsibilities
- Deliver door hanger flyers to residential homes in assigned areas
- Walk neighborhoods and follow provided route maps
- Place flyers neatly on doors or door handles
- Track completed areas and report progress
Requirements
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Comfortable walking for extended periods
- Ability to work independently
- Must have access to a vehicle to travel to assigned delivery areas (primarily NW and NE Calgary)
- Valid driver’s licence required
- Smartphone for navigation and communication
- Respectful of private property and neighborhood guidelines
Compensation
Compensation options are available based on preference:
- Hourly pay, ($17/hr) or
- Per-flyer compensation, which may result in higher earnings for individuals who work efficiently.
Schedule
- Flexible hours between 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Available to work minimum 10hrs/week
- Temporary role lasting 2–3 months
