We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a background in asphalt and experience operating skid steers to join our asphalt maintenance team. Must have:
- Transportation to and from shop (outside of town)
- Valid G licence or higher
- Ability to drive pickup trucks and trailers safely
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, take measurements, and record quantities.
- Open availability for day, night and weekend shifts
- Flexibility with scheduling as business needs change frequently
- Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions (High temperatures, rain, wind etc)
Job duties:
- Line painting-repainting parking lots and roads. New layouts, measuring, pre-marking, stenciling, and traffic paint removal.
- Asphalt sealcoating surface preparation, sealcoating, taking proper measures to do a clean and efficient job.
- Power sweeping-operating skid steers with power brooms.
- Asphalt repairs-use of saws, skid steers, rollers, plate packers, and power tools.
