Job Overview
We are seeking a Labourer (Interior Renovations) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing a variety of residential interior renovation tasks, including flooring, tiling, fixture installation, and general finishing work. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality workmanship across renovation projects, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and/or assist with flooring (e.g., laminate, vinyl, tile)
- Install millwork
- Complete bathroom tile installations, including floor tiling
- Perform painting and surface preparation work as required
- Install kitchen and bathroom fixtures, including sinks and faucets
- Install toilets and basic plumbing connections
- Assist with lighting fixture installation (within scope)
- Install interior doors, closet doors, baseboards, and trim
- Complete basic drywall tasks, including patching and minor repairs
- Support general site activities, including material handling and site organization
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow direction from team leads while working independently on assigned tasks
- Participate in portfolio-wide projects and initiatives as required
- Perform other duties as needed to support project completion
Skills and Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in residential construction or interior renovations
- Hands-on experience with interior tasks such as flooring, tiling, painting, and basic installations
- Ability to complete assigned work independently while taking direction as needed
- Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience with drywall patching, trim, and finishing work preferred
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to jump in and support the team where needed
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Ability to manage time effectively and stay productive on-site
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of performing manual labour, including lifting and moving materials
- Team-oriented with a positive, adaptable attitude
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Drivers License
Pay: $22.00 per hour
