CVC Groups provides outsourced IT infrastructure support with a focus on computer, server and network setup, remote and on-site technical support, managed services and IT security. Its client base mostly consists of organizations across the major metropolitan areas of Canada. We are looking for someone who can provide technical support including 24/7 help-desktop and data centre support helpdesk. About the Role
We are looking for 1–2 motivated Intermediate Systems & Network Administrators to support our co-location data centre infrastructure and managed client environments. This role requires a mix of helpdesk support and infrastructure work. You will help ensure reliable uptime, handle support tickets, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to infrastructure improvements.
You will handle day-to-day client support tickets while also maintaining servers, virtual environments, backups, and networking for our long-term clients. This role offers variety, direct impact, and the opportunity to grow into more advanced infrastructure work.
Key Responsibilities
· Monitor and support servers, virtual machines, and network infrastructure.
· Handle support tickets: Microsoft 365, Outlook, OneDrive, password resets, user access, email issues, etc.
· Manage backups, replication, and basic disaster recovery tasks.
· Perform routine maintenance, patching, and server reboots.
· Troubleshoot and manage virtual machines and VHDX files.
· Support networking tasks (firewalls, DNS, IP whitelisting, VPN).
· Assist with client onboarding/offboarding and security tasks.
· Document procedures and help maintain runbooks.
· Participate in on-call rotation for critical issues.
Requirements
· 3–5+ years of IT infrastructure / systems administration experience (MSP or data centre preferred).
· Strong hands-on experience with Hyper-V, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365.
· Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, DNS) — Cisco/networking certification is a plus.
· Experience with backups, replication, and ticketing systems.
· Comfortable with Windows and basic Linux (CentOS/Rocky Linux).
· Good problem-solving and customer service skills.
· Eligible to work in Canada. GTA-based preferred for occasional on-site work.
