a glissieres, qui produit aussi d'autres produits d'attaches. YKK Canada Inc. fabrique des produits
d'attaches haut de gamme a Ville Saint-Laurent depuis 1968.
Role
Sous la superv1s1on du directeur national S&B/FTS, le techincien FTS est responsable de
l'entretien/reparation des machines d'attaches YKK situes chez les clients ou a l'usine. Cet emploi
necessite des deplacements a travers la province de Quebec, parfois pour plus d'une journee a la
fois.
Responsabilites principales
- Repondre aux appels de service, aux questions des clients, clarifier leurs besoins et en
reparant les appareils.
- Completer les commandes dans WebSynco lorsqu'un appareil est fonctionna afin d'equilibrer
l'inventaire.
- Remplir les rapports d'intervention dans WebSynco a chaque semaine, lors des appels de service
avec
la tablette du FTS.
- Effectuer les tests necessaires avant la livraison aux clients.
- Installer les nouveaux equipements aux places d'affaires des clients.
- Operer un Forklift et un scissors Lift quand necessaire. (L'entrainement et la certification
seront effectues a l'usine de YKK Canada)
- Effectuer les rapports de verification de vetements (RVV) pour les clients et leur indiquer a
quel endroit
et comment attacher les produits YKK.
- Entrainer les employes des clients, au besoin.
- Tester les nouveaux produits quand requis. Test new products when requested (requis des ventes,
RVV, ... ).
- Participer a la recherche de solutions aux problemes recurrents et faire des suggestions afin
d'ameliorer l'efficacite du departement.
- Aider a l'atteinte des objectifs environnementaux et de systemes de management de la qualite.
- S'assurer que le departement est propre et organise.
- Effectuer toute autre tache jugee necessaire et demandee par le departement ou la compagnie.
Requis
- Formation technique, DEC (Technicien) or DEP (electromecanique).
- Base forte en mecanique industrielle (transmission du mouvement).
- Comprehension du dessin industriel (CAD) associe a la mecanique.
- Base forte en systemes electronique/pneumatique.
- Connaissance de !'automation programmee.
- Competence avec la suite Office et les ordinateurs.
- Bonne gestion du temps.
- Permis de conduire valide.
- Apte a coduire une fourgonnette ou un camion.
- Apte a transporter un coffre a outil d'environ 501bs (bonne force physique)
- Familiar avec les principes de controle de la qualite.

Role
Under the supervision of the S&B/FTS National Director, the FTS (Field Technical Service) Technician
is responsible to service and/or repair YKK attaching machines located at our customers place of
business or factory. The job of the FTS Technician will require travel. Must be willing to travel within
Quebec - some overnight trips are to be expected.
Main responsibilities
- Answer service calls, customer questions and clarify their needs as well as rebuilding machines.
- Complete the work orders in WebSynco when a machine overhaul is complete to balance our parts
inventory.
- Fill-out the intervention report in WebSynco during a service call at a customer with the FTS tablet and
ensure all the reports are completed by the end of each week.
- Make the necessary testing with the machine when they are ready to be shipped to the customer.
- Install new equipment/machine at the customers' place.
- Operate a Forklift and scissors Lift when needed. (Certified Training will be provided and
maintained)
- Performs GCR (Garment Check Reports) for customers to help and instruct them how and where to
attach YKK products.
- Train the necessary customers' employees. (Machine operators, supervisors etc .. )
- Test new products when requested. (sales test request, GCR, etc ... ).
- Participate in the search for solutions to recurrent problems and make suggestions to improve
performance and quality of the FTS department.
- Assist in meeting department goals and objectives regarding the environmental and quality
management systems.
- Make sure the FTS Department as well as the workspace is clean and tidy when a job is completed or
at the end of each day.
- Performs any other tasks as per the department and the company's operational needs.
Candidate requirements
- Technical training, DEC (Technician with College level) or DEP (electromechanics).
- Solid base in industrial mechanics (transmission of movement).
- Understanding of mechanical industrial design (CAD drawing).
- Solid base in electronic/pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of programmable automation.
- Comfortable working with a computer and the Office Suite.
- Excellent time management skills. Maintain a valid Driver's License. At ease to drive a van or
- truck.
- Ability to carry a tool case of around 501bs (good physical strength) Familiar with the Quality
- Control principles

Pay: $19.82-$45.37 per hour
