Position Overview
The Handyman / Renovation Technician will support our drywall crews by performing framing tasks, minor carpentry, renovation prep work, repairs, and general construction duties. This role is ideal for someone experienced in renovation environments, comfortable working independently, and able to adapt to various jobsite needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform framing work for walls, partitions, and structural adjustments as required for drywall installation.
- Assist with renovation tasks, including demolition, rebuilding, patching, and general carpentry.
- Support drywall crews with site preparation, backing installation, minor repairs, and material handling.
- Complete handyman duties such as fixing doors, trims, hardware, fixtures, and small repairs.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized jobsite.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and requirements.
- Follow timelines and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Handyman, Renovation Worker, Carpenter Helper, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of framing, basic carpentry, and renovation processes.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Understanding of construction measurements, leveling, and layout.
- Physically fit and able to lift materials, work on ladders, and handle jobsite demands.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Pay: $17.85-$28.00 per hour
