Paragon Security is inviting interested applicants for the position of Human Resources Recruiter for our Kitchener /Niagara Region Operations.
This individual is a dedicated staffing resource responsible to keep their team Fully Staffed. Developing inexperienced guards and making them succeed through coaching and training to meet our client’s expectations.
Although, this position is based out of Kitchener, you will be required to operate out of our Hamilton office (when required).
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year Security Experience
- Minimum 1 Year Experience in Human Resources
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to multi task and work under pressure
- Must have a G license and own vehicle – comfortable driving to other offices (Hamilton)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to conduct different types of interviews (Virtual and in person)
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide service to teams: (attending reaction meeting, update staffing requirements and follow up with teams instructions)
- Review Daily Reports and provide feedback to the team
- Scan and screen resumes from recruitment websites (Indeed, company website, referrals).
- Recruit candidates based on staffing requirements.
- Create innovative strategies to attract candidates.
- Interview guards – Walk in interviews
- On-boarding process (hiring package, uniform, Id’s, etc)
- Data entry of New Hires.
- Introduce new hires to operation teams and deploy guards.
- Set up training required for new hires.
- Follow up with New hires for 13 weeks and redeploy if necessary.
- Weekly report for New hires (13 weeks report).
- Follow up with Zero hours guards and update bi-weekly report.
- Scheduling one week per month.
- Availability list to Dispatch in daily basis
- Daily report to the team with interview numbers
- Weekly summary to the team with new hires and deployments.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30.
Pay Rate - $21.00 per hour with employer paid benefits after completion of the probationary period.
