Gladstone is looking for a Night Supervisor to join our team!
Gladstone is a busy, lively brewery and restaurant in downtown Courtenay, and there is always something going on. Live music, packed patios, events, great beer, great food, regulars and a whole lot of people coming through the doors. It’s fast-paced, social and genuinely a really fun place to work.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll work alongside the team while keeping an eye on the whole floor, directing staff, solving problems and making sure each night runs smoothly from service through closing.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support the team during evening shifts
- Keep an eye on the entire floor and adjust staffing as needed
- Assign stations, delegate tasks and give clear direction
- Help train and coach new and existing team members
- Jump in wherever needed during busy service
- Help lead busy events, live music nights and special programming
- Handle guest concerns and solve problems confidently
- Oversee closing duties, cleaning and closing checklists
- Make sure the restaurant is properly reset for the next day
- Communicate important shift information to management
- Help cover sick calls and additional shifts when needed
Availability
This is a night position. You must be available to work Friday through Monday evenings and closes, as well as events and special nights. We’re also looking for someone with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts and help cover sick calls when needed.
Who We’re Looking For
You have experience in a busy restaurant or bar environment and are comfortable taking the lead. You’re dependable, upbeat, calm under pressure and good at seeing what needs to happen next. You can give people clear direction while still being the kind of person who jumps in and works right alongside them.

Pay: $29.00-$36.00 per hour
