Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Car Haul Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely transporting vehicles over long distances, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care. Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to transport vehicles across long distances.
- Load and unload vehicles using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Secure vehicles properly for transit to prevent damage during transport.
- Conduct routine inspections of the truck and trailer before and after trips, including checking for mechanical issues.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when needed to ensure vehicle operability.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, vehicle condition, and delivery documentation.
- Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations during operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and vehicle status.
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for long-haul driving.
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor issues.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle inspection reports.
- Ability to manage long hours on the road while maintaining alertness and professionalism.

Pay: $1,299.00-$1,500.00 per week
