About Us:
Quantum Door Company is a growing prehung door shop specializing in high-quality interior and custom door systems. We work on everything from standard prehung doors to precision hardware like concealed hinges and specialty preps.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for an experienced carpenter who knows their way around doors and hardware especially someone who can handle precision work like hidden hinges and prehung units.
This is not an entry level role. You must be comfortable working independently and producing clean, accurate work.
Responsibilities:
- Install and prep prehung interior and exterior doors
- Rout and install concealed/hidden hinges (Tectus, Sugatsune, etc.)
- Perform door modifications and custom prep work
- Install door hardware (locks, handles, closers, etc.)
- Ensure doors are level, aligned, and operating properly
- Work with the shop team to complete projects on schedule
- Identify and resolve deficiencies before final install
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter (door experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of door installation and hardware
- Experience with concealed/hidden hinges is a major asset
- Ability to read measurements and work with high precision
- Strong attention to detail (precision work – not rough framing)
- Reliable, motivated, and able to take direction
- Fluent in reading and writing English
- Ability to use a Norfield Door Machine

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
