We are looking for an experienced Lead Hand Landscaper/Hardscaper to lead landscape construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will oversee a small crew, ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, maintain high quality standards, and provide excellent customer service on-site.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a landscape construction crew on residential projects
- Read and execute landscape plans accurately
- Communicate professionally with clients and address questions on-site
- Organize daily tasks and ensure projects are completed efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Train and mentor crew members
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of landscape construction (hardscaping) experience for Foreman
- Minimum 3 years of landscape construction (hardscaping) experience for Lead Hand
- Valid driver's licence with the ability to drive a truck and trailer
- Experience reading landscape plans and establishing grades
- Skilled in the installation of:
- Interlocking pavers and walkways
- Retaining walls
- Natural stone and garden edging
- Experience with:
- Soil preparation and grading
- Sod installation
- Planting trees, shrubs, and perennials
- Mulching and decorative stone installation
- Ability to safely operate professional landscaping equipment, including skid steers, mini excavators, plate compactors, cut-off saws, and other landscape construction equipment
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Assets
- Experience with carpentry or general construction
- Experience building decks, pergolas, fences, privacy screens, and other outdoor structures
- Experience operating excavators, skid steers, or other heavy equipment
- Ability to read construction drawings and perform accurate layout work
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
