Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment where excellent communication, multitasking, and customer service skills are essential.

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during food handling and serving
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to serve guests efficiently without compromising quality
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with food preparation, serving techniques, and hospitality standards
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and guests
