Prep Cook / Dishwasher ResponsibilitiesKitchen Prep Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Remove garbage regularly
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed
- Ensure clean dishes are properly stored and available for service
- Prepare ingredients for service (cutting, chopping, portioning, mixing, etc.)
- Assist cooks with basic food preparation
- Stock and organize prep stations
- Label and properly store food items
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor ingredient levels and notify management when supplies are low
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
General Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods
- Complete opening and closing cleaning duties
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team members
- Be respectful to all team members and customers
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry 30 lb
- Must be able to work Friday and Saturday nights until 1AM
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
