Morning Baker
We're looking for an experienced breakfast baker to bake for our beautiful vintage café and bake shop. If you enjoy baking (muffins, scones, and the like), have good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently on a small team, and have prior bake shop experience and/or education, this is the place for you. This is a full-time morning position in which you will work 20-35 hours per week. Weekly hours are flexible and shifts will fluctuate with the needs of the café. Shifts will mainly be during the week, starting between 5am and 7am and ending between 1pm and 3pm.

Experience: 2 years of food preparation and/or professional baking (preferred)

Hot Kitchen Assistant Position
We're looking for an experienced kitchen prep assistant to join our team and help prepare and execute lunch and dinner service at our beautiful vintage café and restaurant. If you enjoy cooking feel-good foods in a busy environment, have good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently on a dedicated team, and have prior restaurant experience and/or culinary training, this is the place for you. This is a full-time position in which you will work 20-35 hours per week. Weekly hours are flexible and shifts will fluctuate with the needs of the restaurant, including evening shifts on Friday and Saturday nights for The Red Door, our live music and event venue. Shifts may be scheduled between 8am and 6pm Tuesday-Thursday and Sundays, and can go as late as midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.
In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to learn weekly kitchen prep, execute daily lunch service, prepare charcuterie boards and other food for private events, and work alongside a small, collaborative kitchen team. This position is a great fit for someone looking for a flexible schedule and supporting staff, as shifts include a mix of daytime and evening work.
Experience: 1 year of food preparation and/or professional cooking (preferred)
Certification: Culinary Arts Diploma (preferred)
