Project Coordinator
IEL Projects Ltd is the premier Commercial Renovation Contractor in Greater Victoria and a part of the Parker Johnston Industries Ltd Group that has been in the construction industry for over 70 years.
We are seeking a Project Manager/Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Victoria, BC. This position offers both the responsibility and the ability to grow into project management fields of construction, as well as development of great administrative, collaborative, and technical skills. Ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced organizational skills, detail and process oriented with the ability to absorb project details and transform them into working plans.

- Building envelope renewals and upgrades
- Deep building energy retrofits
- Structural retrofits
- Complete interior renewals
Terms: Permanent, Full-time.
Salary: $65.000.00 - $85,000.00 annually dependent on experience
Location: Saanichton, BC

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Building technology or related field from a recognized Canadian institution.
- Strong skills in budgeting, time management and team leadership.
- Self-motivated and highly organized individual with attention to detail.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review contract documents and design drawings for accuracy and completeness and coordinate resolution of discrepancies/missing information.
- Monitor project progress, deadlines, submittals and budgets.
- Assist with project estimating and administrative tasks.
- Maintain organizational systems and manage project documentation.
- Support field supervisors with resource allocation, troubleshooting and on-site decision-making as necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure smooth execution of projects by supporting the Project Management team.
