Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Team Members to join our dynamic franchise urban Cafe team in both part-time and full-time capacities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced food service environment where excellent customer service and teamwork are essential. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and payment handling
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service in a friendly manner
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and quality
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving, food prep, or cleaning as needed
Skills
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy hours to ensure timely service
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Effective communication skills for working with team members and interacting with customers
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, serving, and upselling
