Position: Greenhouse Farm Labourer
Employment Type: Full-time, Seasonal
Location: Lambton Shores, Ontario
Wage: $17.60 per hour
Additional Compensation: Performance bonuses available to all employees based on quality of work
About the Role
Greenhouse general farm labourer supports daily crop production activities to ensure healthy plants and high-quality harvests. This role involves physical, repetitive tasks and requires reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Planting, pruning, clipping, and general crop maintenance
- Harvesting and packing produce according to quality standards
- Monitoring plant health and reporting concerns to supervisors
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Following all workplace policies, safety procedures, and biosecurity protocols
- Supporting additional greenhouse tasks as needed
· Daily cleaning of Facilities
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, and lifting
- Comfortable working in warm, humid greenhouse conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑minded
- Previous greenhouse or agricultural experience is an asset but not required
- no education required
