Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finisher to join our manufacturing team. The Finisher plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications before they are shipped to customers. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with various tools, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform finishing tasks.
- Fabricate components as needed to complete final assembly.
- Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move materials and finished goods.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the finishing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
Experience operating forklifts and cranes in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques for process improvement.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Proficiency in fabricating components using various hand tools and power tools.
- Welding experience is a plus for certain finishing tasks.
- Machining skills are beneficial for precision work on finished products.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
