Overview
Just Bite Me Meals is a fast-growing, locally owned meal prep company with four locations across Alberta. We provide healthy, ready-to-eat meals, snacks, cold-pressed juices, and supplements, making healthy eating simple and convenient for thousands of customers.
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and driven full-time Store/Office Manager to lead our Edmonton retail location. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the storefront and office while ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient store performance, and strong administrative execution.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day storefront operations
- Lead and support the storefront team, creating a positive and productive work environment
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Ensure the store is fully stocked, clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times
- Manage inventory levels, receive shipments, and coordinate stock transfers
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and merchandising standards
- Complete daily office and administrative duties, including emails, scheduling support, printing of orders & labels and managing customer orders within Shopify. This includes reviewing orders, updating order dates, making order modifications, and ensuring order information is accurate and up to date
- Maintain accurate inventory and store records
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, sales, and the overall customer experience
- Communicate regularly with management regarding store performance, inventory needs, and operational updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience required
- Experience in POS systems, cash handling, and administrative tasks
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Leads with confidence, accountability, and professionalism
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Is comfortable addressing challenges as they arise and works collaboratively to find solutions
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Experience with Inventory management
- Professional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
