About the Role
As Branch Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day success of our Victoria branch.
You'll lead and coach our operations team, oversee daily operations and dispatch, support customer experience, assist with hiring and training, and work closely with our sales and leadership teams.
This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll spend time in and out of the field, solving problems, supporting crews, working with customers, and making sure our standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop movers, drivers, packers, and operations staff
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing employee training
- Oversee daily operations, dispatch, scheduling, and crew readiness
- Monitor operational KPIs, crew hours, job costing, and productivity
- Address customer concerns, claims, and operational issues
- Support sales with on-site appointments and operational expertise when needed
- Ensure safety, company policies, and Ferguson standards are followed
- Build relationships with local businesses, realtors, and community partners
- Help grow Ferguson's presence and reputation throughout the Victoria market
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is ready to lead, not simply someone looking for a management title.
You may currently be an Operations Supervisor, Team Lead, Assistant Manager, Service Manager, or another strong operations leader ready for the next step.
You'll bring:
- 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, field service, home services, construction, restoration, transportation, moving, or a similar industry
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- A proactive, accountable approach to leadership
- Comfort working in both office and field environments
- A genuine interest in developing people and growing your leadership career
