Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON> to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, carpentry, and the operation of heavy equipment and power tools. This role involves performing a variety of tasks to support building projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The <PERSON> will work on diverse projects that may include concrete finishing, woodworking, welding, and other specialized construction activities. Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction tasks accurately.
- Construct and install concrete forms and perform concrete finishing with precision.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently to complete various construction activities.
- Assist with restoration projects, including siding installation and carpentry work.
- Use hand tools and power tools for framing, woodworking, welding, and other related tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move materials and equipment safely around the job site.
- Read and interpret schematics for complex construction tasks involving structural elements.
- Support the installation of siding, framing, or other exterior/interior building components.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards throughout each phase of the project.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or related fields such as carpentry, concrete forming, or restoration work.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and siding installation is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding environments for extended periods.
- Experience working with woodworking materials and understanding of structural framing is desirable.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining safety standards at all times.
- Prior experience in construction projects involving heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on project location or company policies.
