Job Overview
We’re looking for a confident, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy automotive and lube shop. This in-person role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, understands vehicle maintenance, and thrives on delivering exceptional service. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through service options, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring a smooth experience from drop-off to pick-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their service needs for oil changes, inspections, and mechanical repairs
- Provide accurate estimates and explain recommended services in a clear, professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage daily service flow
- Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
- Maintain service records and update customer profiles
- Handle payments, invoicing, and warranty documentation
- Ensure the front desk and waiting area are clean, organized, and welcoming
- Promote seasonal service packages and upsell where appropriate
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is required.
- Previous customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with CDK or similar dealership management software is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with inventory tracking or parts ordering
- Familiarity with Canadian automotive service standards
