Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Countertop Installer with a valid truck to join our team. This role involves installing high-quality countertops in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring precise craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction-related fields, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on various installation projects.
Duties
- Measure and prepare countertops according to blueprints, schematics, and client specifications
- Use hand tools such as saws, drills, and caulking guns to cut, shape, and secure countertops
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation
- Install countertops with precision, including sealing edges with caulking for a finished look
- Assist with related construction tasks such as flooring installation, tile laying, or restoration projects as needed
- Operate a truck to transport materials and equipment safely to job sites
- Coordinate with clients and team members to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols throughout all phases of installation
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for construction tasks
- Construction experience with a focus on carpentry, plumbing, or welding is highly desirable
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing countertops and edges
- Experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or restoration work is a plus
- Strong understanding of construction painting and general building practices
- Ability to operate a truck safely and efficiently for transporting materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
- Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials up to 40 pounds and working in various positions throughout the day

Pay: $22.75-$51.22 per hour
