Bastion Hospitality is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to join the management team at Garrick's Head Pub and The Churchill Draughthouse.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys leading from the floor, and is looking for long-term growth opportunities within an expanding hospitality group.
Schedule & Availability
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is mandatory
- Additional days are flexible
- Primarily evening shifts, typically beginning around 5:00 PM and finishing around 1:00 AM
- Occasional administrative shifts may be scheduled as required
- Opportunity to bartend or serve while fulfilling management responsibilities during slower service periods
What You'll Do
- Lead and support daily front-of-house operations
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Assist with scheduling, labour management, staffing, and operational planning
- Support service wherever needed, including running food, clearing tables, assisting bartenders, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Work closely with management to improve systems, service standards, and overall business performance
What We're Looking For
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a busy restaurant, pub, or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume floor while maintaining a positive guest experience
- A hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside the team
- Experience with 7Shifts scheduling software and/or Toast POS is considered an asset

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
