Equipment Operator:
Rustic Ridge Contracting Ltd. is seeking a motivated Equipment Operator to join our growing team. We specialize in acreage development and civil construction projects throughout the Foothills region, primarily south of Calgary.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a hardworking team. Immediate start available.
Responsibilities
- Operate skid steers and excavators safely and efficiently
- Complete trenching, excavation, grading, and site preparation work
- Assist with basement excavations, road building, drainage installation, and concrete preparation
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Work independently and alongside crew members to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of equipment operating experience preferred
- Experience operating skid steers and/or excavators
- Class 1 Driver's Licence is considered an asset but is not required
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and take direction when required
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive wage of $25.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience
