Absolute Industrial Mechanical Ltd. has an opportunity for plumbers and pipefitters of all skill levels to join the team!
Since 1999, we have provided professional pipefitting and industrial plumbing services, specializing in process piping fabrication and installations. The majority of our work consists of upgrades to pump stations and treatment facilities, working closely with municipalities. This position would be a shop based position working alongside our current pipefitters to cut, prep, clean, fit and tack pipe spools in both steel and stainless steel. We realize this position is not your 'ordinary' plumbing and pipefitting, but if you have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
Requirements:
- Apprentices: Shop and/or fabrication experience an asset
- Excellent skills in communication, numeracy, and critical thinking
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- Must be able to provide Driving Abstract
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Determine the amount of material and type of equipment needed
- Execute jobs based on established priorities and available resources
- Assist in and perform complex jobs
- Meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently
- Work independently or as part of a team
We offer a competitive pay rate and a health and dental benefits package after a probationary period. Compensation for out-of-town work is also provided.
